The COVID situation in France remains very concerning and does not allow us anymore to anticipate a proper organisation of the BIOMAT 2021 meeting by the middle of March. Therefore, not to take any risk and to respect the collective efforts that are undertaken by each of us to slow down the virus progression, the organising committee and the BIOMAT counsel have decided to postpone the meeting to the 19th-22nd of October 2021, at the same place (Base camp lodge Hotel , Bourg Saint Maurice). We hope that this decision will allow us to welcome you in better conditions, and with fewer restrictions with respect to participant number. All registrations will be automatically transferred to the new dates, but do not hesitate to contact us (biomat-2021@sciencesconf.org) for any question or request that you may have. In addition, you can still register and the abstract deadline has been postponed to the 3rd of September 2021. We are well aware that this decision is disappointing, particularly for young scientist. However, the Alps still offer beautiful sceneries and many outside activities in October. Furthermore, the young scientist day is maintained on October 19th and the BIOMAT young scientist committee will propose initiatives to keep contact, exchange and share in the meantime.
